SAP S/4HANA Central Finance AKA Sidecar Approach/ Finance-First Approach

SAP S/4HANA Central Finance is a deployment option that allows organizations to implement S/4HANA Finance centrally while continuing to operate their existing ERP systems (SAP or non-SAP) across the landscape. Instead of a full-scale system conversion, Central Finance enables selected financial data—such as general ledger postings, cost objects, and profit center data—to be replicated in real time or near real time into a central S/4HANA instance.
